The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare's new ⭐Programme Manager ⭐
Radar Healthcare is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to assume
overall accountability for the portfolio of client engagements. Reporting to the
Head of Professional Services, this strategic role is responsible for the successful
execution of all engagements within the portfolio, including project success, client
satisfaction, and portfolio growth. The Programme Manager will directly manage
a team of Engagement Managers and Project Managers, collaborating with senior
leaders to ensure the achievement of both project and portfolio objectives. The
ideal candidate will have experience operating in a high-growth environment,
building scalable client engagement processes that support SaaS delivery at
scale.
What you’ll be doing to make a difference:

Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of all projects within the portfolio,
including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. - Lead, mentor, and develop Engagement Managers and Project Managers,
fostering a collaborative and performance-driven team culture. - Coordinate cross-functional teams, providing leadership and guidance to
ensure successful programme execution. - Monitor and track portfolio progress, proactively identifying and mitigating
risks and issues to minimise impact. - Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep
stakeholders informed of portfolio status, risks, and changes. - Manage portfolio-level budgets, financial resources, forecasts, and
expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining
financial performance. - Oversee revenue forecasting, ensuring accuracy in predicting revenue
streams from ongoing and upcoming engagements. - Ensure alignment with the Project Management Office (PMO), adhering to
governance frameworks, processes, and best practices across all projects. - Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts or issues that
may arise among team members or stakeholders. - Conduct regular portfolio and project reviews, assessing performance
against KPIs and implementing corrective actions as needed. - Ensure governance processes are consistently applied across the portfolio,
maintaining transparency and accountability. - Collaborate with Partner Managers (CSMs) and Project Management
teams to optimise customer engagement, adoption, and service delivery. - Identify and pursue opportunities for service improvement and innovation
to support business growth. - Build scalable client engagement processes that align with the needs of a
high-growth SaaS environment, supporting long-term customer success
and retention. - Contribute to the establishment of delivery standards and practices that
support operational efficiency. - Prepare and present executive-level reports and insights to senior
leadership, showcasing key performance metrics, risks, and opportunities.

throughout the portfolio, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction,
including sponsors, against agreed success factors. -
Radar Outcomes: Build and maintain a strong brand reputation within the
portfolio through consistent delivery quality and reliability. -
Financial Performance: Achieve portfolio-level financial targets, including
budgets, forecasts, margins, and accurate revenue projections for growing
portfolios to ultimately exceed £5M annually. -
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues
within the portfolio and broader business, with success measured by the
effectiveness of the risk management process and the ability to promptly
address and minimise the impact of issues. -
Team Performance: Lead a high-performing team with clear roles,
measurable performance standards, and opportunities for growth and
development. -
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement,
leveraging lessons learned to enhance programme and project
management processes.
Your journey so far...
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as business
administration, project management, engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 10 years of experience in project or programme management,
including leadership of delivery teams. - Proven experience operating in a high-growth environment, with a track
record of building scalable client engagement processes to support SaaS
delivery. - Extensive experience with SaaS software delivery processes and associated
resource management, including provision of Services Retainers in support
of growing recurring Services revenue. - Strong commercial focus and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to
drive both operational excellence and business growth. - Experience managing individual projects valued up to £350k and
overseeing portfolios exceeding £5M Services annually. Ideally with
experience of managing portfolios up to £10M in annual Services. - Experience working with a Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring
alignment with governance frameworks, processes, and best practices. - Experience with revenue forecasting, ensuring accurate predictions of
revenue streams from client engagements. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage
stakeholders at all organisational levels. - Strong problem solving skills, with a growth mindset and the ability to
convert strategy into actionable plans. - Relevant professional qualifications such as PMP, Prince2, or MSP.
